It is gas checked and casts at 0.312.
I use the start load of N140 (off hand I think its 38gn but believe I do use 35gn - notes not to hand) which gives me an estimated 2000fps.
Extremely economical and pleasant to shoot.
I sue the same bullet in 303 and 7.5 swiss.
Ideal for use on an ETR range.
you must size it down some for the Swiss, as mine runs .309 cast, I use unique at the moment but would be interested in your results with N140
