With all this lagging and reflexion problems perhaps something like those grey plastic chutes they use for dropping
rubbish down into skips might be better .

You post images either by putting them on a host site like "imgbb" & copy/paste a link code, which I prefer to do to keep the actual post smaller.
or host the picture direct in to your post using the "insert image" link in the middle row above the dialogue box 4th from right.
Thank you Angrybear, I couldn't find the pics link in this BBS thread so I went for your image host option. I have got a Photobucket account, but it's 'off the chart' hopless and slow!!
Here are some pics so far of stuff to show.

The grey and alloy pulley parts are home made and home cast then turned. The pic shows one set running off the Vauxhall windscreen motor gearbox. The gearbox is very slow, but after playing with different size pulleys, I got the cord speed pretty good and quick The alloy boss was turned up and a 10.5 degree taper hole made so the output shaft taper splines can engage.
The extra pulley bolted to the bottom of the proprietary Crapbay pulley was turned up from some nylon stock I had. There was a lip in the proprietary Crapbay pulley, so I used that as a register for locating my nylon extra pulley. The resin double pulley is yet to have a pair of double bearings added (they are on their way) I just drilled a 10mm hole for now so can test the speed. The picture also shows some swarf in the 'U', that is just some muck off the bench, the 'U' IS perfectly smooth
Now I've got the speed right I was able to order the drive belts. They are 175mm diameter and 5.5mm round cross section. Hoping they will get here tomorrow so I can make the whizzer boxes and get all the 'guts' in one working place

Total cost of what you see here is £36! Basically just the motors, the rest is made from stock I already had.
Looks nice.
I wonder what 50m of that ducting would cost
10.2m cost me £260 as a back hander in cash !
