Unfortunately we can't make it to this one, we're having a new bathroom and en-suite, and the fitter will be starting on the 22nd and reckons it will take at least fortnight. I'll be ripping the main bathroom out whilst he's working on the en-suite.
Have a great time everyone and we'll be sure to make it to the first Bash next year.
    See you all then.

I'm sorry to hear that, Garry.

I hope it goes better than my bathroom fitting experience --- I finished it 25 years after starting on it.

Treat it like a Dallas moment, Chris.

Remember when Pam thought Bobby Ewing was dead but it was only a dream --- he was just having a shower ?

Same with you thinking Ray wasn't coming again --- just a nasty dream.

Was hoping to get down to this but owing to still having much to do after relocating to Perthshire I unfortunatly can't make it this time and the prospect of a 900 mile round trip down south and back so soon after the recent to-ing and fro-ing is somewhat off-putting right now !
However I'll try to make a least one visit next year possibly April or June ?

So until then best wishes to all the Quigley Bash Bunch, have a great time (I know you will) and I hope to see you all in 2019 !

    John.

It feels like this project has been going on for 25 years.
Lindsay wants the bedroom and kitchen doing next. I'm doomed.

    Sorry to hear this, Garry.

Always sad when any Boingerpeep can't get along.

See you in the Spring (unless you can manage to magic anything up).

I was extremely lucky by all accounts. where it sliced the side of my hand it nicked the tendon to the little finger but fortunately didn't sever it. Bad enough but could've been a whole lot worse!!!!

Oops. A pain in the arse for a week or so where works concerned but I can still cock an air rifle The bloody stupid thing is, I always wear gloves when removing tiles and on this occasion had forgotten them.
