At present I'm still working on the HW80 I bought off Paul and the HW50 I bought off Jonny.

I decided the HW80 needed something to finish the barrel off and luckily I found an old barrel weight in my spares box, I gave it a quick respray and that and the new stock and scope will be going on tomorrow.

With the old school HW50 I'm just working on the internals before I machine a bush for the rear stock bolt and drop it into a 99 stock --- HW50 stock bolt is 6mm, the HW99 stock bolt is 7mm, the HW99 stock hole is 7.5mm so a 0.75mm walled bush will sort it.

Martin's has more important things on his mind as he's busy sorting his flat out after he accidentally set fire to it.
Did you manage to get any play time in today, Mick?

Yep, it's been a little steady on the bouncy, boingery Boinger Bash thread of late, Pauly.

It will, no doubt, gather more momentum and BOING as the weekend gets closer.

How you keeping my cuddly little one?

It will pick up for sure Tone as we near the packing and setting off date(s)

I’m ok thanks matey, still trying to get used to my new life but all going in the right direction. Must get the little MSX out this week as it may be the last decent weather we have for while but it would be nice if the sun could drag itself out for the Bash.

It was lovely up here today, Pauly, and I'm sure we'll be treated to a few more warm and sunny days before it turns.........Especially in two and a bit weeks' time!

Any joy with fixing the Alecto?

    Fingers crossed mate.

I’ve had the Alecto apart twice. I opened it up to tweak the valve to up the power a tad, easy enough and no real disassembly of internals but on reassembly it just won’t fire ??? Gotta be something simple I’m sure, I may have another look tomorrow and if still no joy, I’ll bring it to The Bash and I’m certain between a few of us we can sort it out.

That explains why Phil's thinking about moving then.

Nuneaton looks nice, and I know a bloke up there who's handy with a welder if my van should break down (or need a V8 engine conversion).
