Craig, if you look out over the hollow at night when bashes are on, you'd mistakenly believe there were fireflys dancing around the field. It is in fact boinger peeps with head torches staggering around the field trying to find their tents/vans. You'll be in good company.

The long gun has just gone back in the cabinet for it's sixth rusting, so far it's had a 3, 3, 5.5, 7.5, 10.5 hourlong rustings, this rusting should be a 12 hour session --- then I just have to boil twice a day and can rust it overnight.

Here's a sneaky peak at the underlever, don't forget it still needs a few more rustings to be fully blacked. :-

The 35 is all cleaned out and fitted with a Knibbs seal and old school HW50 Spring ready for the trigger, barrel and stock.
My only niggle is that the Knibbs seal is 1mm shorter than a genuine Weihrauch one which gives just a 1mm clearance between cocking arm and piston tail. I'll run with it for now until I do my next big shop at Knibbs and get a genuine HW seal.

One hell of a lot of laborious, painstaking work with the rusting there, Uncle Mick, but I just know it will be so well worth the effort.

From what I can gather it's about £120 to have a gun professionally reblued, so with having over 20 guns here needing a reblue I can stand the laborious work, Tone.
