I did not know whether to put this in the Target section, or the Collectable section - originally I decided to put it in the Target section because it is a Match Rifle, but I am sure that it will also appeal to collectors who could also be interested in this classic SSP air rifle.

This is the Ambi stocked variant so it is suitable for both left and right handed shooters.

It is worth noting that I have also owned and shot the standard right handed LG90 and can reassure anyone that may need convincing that in use this Ambi stock is every bit as comfortable to use and gives nothing away to its more usual bespoke right handed variant.

The bonus of course is that it is also good for left handed shooters to use too! - and when the time comes to sell (if you can bare to part with it) it should hold its value as a true ambidextrous classic match rifle.

This is a less common version of the LG90 that can appeal to the Classic target shooter and collector alike that is also a pleasure to shoot and is extremely accurate at 10 meters. I have no PCP match rifle that can outshoot this SSP match rifle so it can hold its own against any other match rifle in use at 10 meters.

As a 6 yard MPL or Bell Target rifle it will have no rivals in performance but it benefits from the classic Walther build quality.

Walther quality is always "top notch" and these rifles are as close to being "hand finished" as you are likely to find. The workmanship reflects an era when Walther was regarded as one of the worlds best airgun manufacturer in the world.

You may be led into thinking that I really like this rifle - and you would be right - it will be a real wrench to part with it, but I am getting older now and don't want to leave my wife with the unenvialble problem of trying to clear my target air rifle and pistol collection so I need to start work on this long and slow process now as it could take years to acheive

I had to "draw lots" to decide the sequence that I will use to decide the order in which to sell all (almost all) of my match rifle collection, and sadly this lovely rifle came out of the hat first!

This rifle is in excellent original and un-modified condition with only the expected small age related minor marking here and there, but it is in overall really good condition for its age and shoots perfectly.

I am asking £525 for this lovely classic match rifle and would welcome anyone that can make the trip to Rossendale to come and inspect it and shoot it at 10 meters (and 6 yards) any Tuesday or Thursday evening on the RMTC club range.

I have just taken some pictures of the rifle for those that would like to check it over before travelling to see it, or for anyone that is unable to collect it but would like to have it delivered to any mainland UK address.

Delivery of this rifle to most mainland addresses will be free of charge.
