I could be wrong but it does look as though one of those two lovely stocks is looking for a new home. they look a bit empty and lonely. Sad really sniff!

The photo was taken just after I had been oiling the stocks, the one with a deeper foreend has a Venom Ultraglide Action with Mach 1 trigger fitted and the other has a full stage 3 tuned Airmasters action with match trigger assembly fitted

Yeh, I saw that too. Very nice, although the stock was a wee bit damaged, and the gun itself a little worn on the bluing.

I was hoping that this thread might light the interest of someone who had a stock but no longer needs it. Yeh right! Looking at the pics I think that strategy will back fire; rekindling interest in the beautiful Welham Airmaster stocks is all we've done!

I have an Airmasters Master Stalker Tyrolean. A full length rifle. beautiful to shoot. Looks similar to yours, but not the same stockmaker I'd guess. Certainly not a John Welham special.

The early FTS with the shallow fore end is the one commissioned and made for John Avon the editor of Airgunner in the 80’s, hence the high spec, I even have a 3-9x36 Zeiss fitted
I also have aVenom Trophy with another Ultraglide action fitted with another Mach 1 trigger

I must admit that I prefer the Airmasters stocks and I’m always on the look out for them, yours is certainly a nice one

This is my Chameleon FTS featured in Airgun world magazine by Mark Camoccio. Not sure of the exact date, but he did a write up about them.
Sorry if that highlights the stocks even more so.
