    Artemis P15 modification.

A few pics of an idea I put into motion, a more practically located cocking lever for an Artemis P15.
Nothing complicated, a Delrin block machined to sit between the cylinder and barrel. This slides to and fro to operate a rod on the other side.
Excuse the video, it’s not intended to be John J Rambo, it’s just to show the operation.

Very clever. You get my vote :-) an excellent mod. I reckon you could have a market for that.

    i`m suprised this works?
normally, the lever is closed and goes over centre to lock up
opened by pulling the lever outwards, something that the connecting rod cannot do,
we really need a video of it being loaded up and fired without holding onto the remote cocking handle

    still, nice work!

I understand exactly what you are saying, and would be inclined to agree had I not tried it. It’s not the easiest thing to do single handed while holding a camera, but this should show you. The closed position of the linkage actually points in towards the action a bit, which would make you think it would work even less, but it doesn’t seem to affect it.

In your case the line of the force is not overcentre as you've picked up on the inside of the curve of the cocking lever, very neat.

    Great mod.

This is actually what puts me off of a lot of the bullpups - having to reach you hand back to the rear of the action to cock / cycle them...
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Can definately see a market for it, well done, you've put a lot of thought into the design.
