Just mooching on freeads and this ad struck me as odd, so I hope it isnt a forum member.

Firstly, has he been ripped off with that stock? It's a CS500, aren't they around £180
Secondly, does the HW80 barrel not pivot, because that looks a tad tight to cock and get a pellet in the barrel under the sunshade.
Thirdly an ox-spring
Fourthly, what does "in unfired condition" mean?
I know you can set your own price, but really?

I too saw this and was interested. Until i saw how short the barrel had been lopped. I suspect it may impair the rifles performance a bit

I suspect the Ox spring and abridged barrel will see this rifle grouping as well as a soloist.

a hate that freeads,dont bother with it now.heres few examples of rifles ive had on there,these were off same greedy chancer.hw97k i sold for £200 greedy chancer offers £100 lol,hw99s mint boxed with 9x50 scope and good mounts i sold for £160,greedy chancer offers £100 haha,binoculars brand new with bipod cost £140 asking a fair £60 greedy chancer offers £20 haha.i messaged the crackpot not to message me again about gear i put on freeads,then his son threatned me cos i wouldnt take £100 for the 99s,he got really cheeky,i nearly involved the police.thats my finish with freeads a hate it.

i actually bought my prosport of him, he's a canny lad but i dont know whats gone on with this ad, for a start i bought a brand new cs500 stock of custom stocks on e-b-a-y- , i offered 165 and they accepted so no way is worth 300 quid. his sums dont ad up either . says stock is 300, then says it cost him 250 and a trigger guard was 15 , thats a missing 35 quid some where

As far as I know the barrel length on this would be normal for a HW80K, from memory they are 310mm, which is not far from 12" in old money.
Looks pretty good to me with that backdraft.
