    FX Crown

    Hi Gents,

I fancy a change I'm looking at replacing my wolverine c type with a FX Crown.

I have seen countless reviews that all seem very positive but I have heard that they are not very good at sub 12 ftlb and in the smaller calibres(im looking at .22, I would appreciate your opinions on this matter.
    Regards
    Rob

I can’t vouch for the Crown but I can’t think for the life of me why the Walnut version doesn’t have an adjustable cheek piece like the laminate version does.

It’s as if a good cheek weld doesn’t matter if your shooting a Walnut one.

Think I’d be looking at a fx boss, maybe see about a carbon bottle?
Also worth a look is the priest, you can keep a 500cc in your pocket so the rifle is lightweight

Thanks gents I agree with the lack of adjustable cheek piece missing from the walnut looking a bit of a poor relation to its laminate stocked brothers, same as applies to the synthetic.
Its the under 12foot pound rumours of poor performance from fx guns i've heard of which i would like to find out out about before I lay out such a large sum.
