Webley and Scott Hawk MK1 rear sight pics needed

A friend of me has given me his once new bought Webley and Scott Hawk MK1, as he prefers his BSA Cadet Major to shoot rabbits.

The Hawk is in a well used state, and has both barrels with it. My first thought was to restore it completely, but that would wipe away a whole life lived. Instead I opt for a sympathic restauration, getting rid of the rust, refreshing the internals, but keeping the marks of use.

Most internal parts needed are available, but one of the barrels is missing its front sight. If anyone has one available, I'm interested, but I can always use the one from the other barrel.

More serious is the missing rear sight. Well, most of it is there, but the plastic part on the rear that has the notch in it for aiming (sorry, I don't know the word for that one) has broken off. Does someone have one laying around or is someone willing to make some detail pictures and give some measurements so I can try to replicate one out of aluminium?

    Cheers!

I don't know how much help this will be, but here's a link to some information on all the Hawks:

No problem, just not as 'online' as modern world dictates. 😉

Thanks for your help DaveM, much appreciated!

    Cheers!
