Falcon M18+ 4-18×44 FFP Rifle Scope

Hi anyone using the above scope or any Falcon scope just want a bit of feedback on them looking to purchase in the near future. Or any recommendations on FFp scopes.

Falcon are very nice, if just a little bit heavy.
I had a 10x42 menace and it was great but the ret was a bit small for my not so good eyesight.

I now have a nikko stirling diamond ffp 4-16x44 and it is brilliant. Nice and clear and light weight too.

Worth a look in my opinion.

Had one for a year or two now. Things that come to mind;

fantastic value for money for a mainstream FFP scope you should be able to find one for around £280
very clear glass
built like a tank
good positive click's on the turrets, smooth magnification and parallax rings

With it been FFP at low magnification I find the cross hair almost unusable, but since I normally shoot between 10-12x it's a non issue for me, your mileage may vary.

Would I buy another? yes they suit my eyes.

As ever if you can find one to have a look through and see what you think before parting with cash.

I've got 2 Falcons, an M18 (not +) and a Menace 5-25 . The M18 is my fave, use it on full mag all the time, mine is the EMD ret. much prefer it to the Menace, yes built like a tank, I keep thinking of getting another, but new, I don't like the parallel turret on the +

I e had one sitting in my scope draw for 8 months now just waiting to be fitted to a rifle problem is I can not work out which rifle as all mine have good scopes on them. I bought it on a whim as I’d just one for the first time ever £500 on a scrach card the the wife did not know about. One day I’ll make my mind up.

BTW I used to live in Shipton Bellinger, don't suppose they let you shoot on the plain?

Only if you get a license from MOD which is a pain in the backside to get worth it though.

Yes to all the above, I think it beats everything else in the price range. But it is big and heavy, and the turrets stick out a long way, which means taking care when putting it back in the gun cupboard to avoid damaging its neighbours.
