Record trigger - lost 1st stage return tension

I wonder if any of one can help?

The 1st stage of my trigger feels fine, and returns under a light tension whilst the safety is on - once the safety if off...the 1stage return tension is lost.

Apart from that the trigger is fine, with a fantastic break.

Its easier (and safer) to work with the Rekord trigger out of the rifle (2 parallel pins - but watch the safety catch spring for making a bid for freedom ) then re-fit it for fine tunning.
