    Anyone got a .177 Bsa barrel to fit lightning mercury or spitfire?

    Hi guys I’m after a .177 Bsa barrel to fit a lightning , Mercury or spitfire if any of you have something let me know??

    Must have good pivot holt and not oval as is the one I already have here.

    Have you considered getting you pivot hole redrilled and bushed or sleeved.

    Might be a cheaper option, not sure .177 BSA barrels come up to often an go for higher prices than .22 ones.

    Sounds like a good and much cheaper option,did it on an old Meteor and fitted a suitable roll pin.

    Now that could be interesting as the pivot pin normally holds the barrel latch in, did you have to shave a bit off the latch to fit the roll pin?

    Pivot hole

    Not sure how much meat between hole and bore before you break through, I would build it up with weld .
