    Ex army charcoal suits.

Some time ago you could get ex army charcoal suits in dpm & green, for chemical / gas attacks I think they were designed for. Sealed in tough plastic bags. What were they called, NBC suits ??????? I'm clearing out some stuff & found a few I forgot I had, I need to know how to describe them in adverts.

    NBC suits.

Whatever you are wearing underneath them turns black from the charcoal.

But at least the ruskies can't get you.

I remember being told you could wash the charcoal out of them and it would leave you with a good jacket. Never had mine long before it was stolen I never got the chance to try the washing the charcoal out of it.

I planned to let mine soak in a tub of hot water and leave it to dissolve then repeat until it was all gone.

I wore mine fishing and fell in the river. Made a right mess if I remember right of my clothing.

I took it off and left it hanging on a tree near a fire we built and some that passed by stole it.
