For me, the distance in which I can guarantee to shoot a group less than the size of a one (1) pence piece, and no further than 30 to 35 yards.

I have one in .22 lovely gun, full power

I picked one up a few years back and was pleasantly surprised with it. Nice walnut stock, decent trigger, good consistent power and no twang.
.22 second hand from a local shop for 140 quid too. A farmer offered me a .177 Fenman for it so that was that
He's happy knocking crows and pigeons off the barns with it so I'd give it the thumbs up.
