Thumbs up Lgv piston into hw80?

Well mines eventually in at the expense of a top sear and a broken tap (snapped off with 2mm showing) that was a ffs moment now it's in need of a spring maybe a #9 titan....still waiting for a compression cylinder for the 52 (TX short stroked extended nosed piston) that'll be running a titan spring too.

I'm getting it to cock but the safety is hit and miss is that to be expected?

If it's the 80 you're having problems with the safety with ?

You may not have taken enough metal off the sear, besides forming a U in the top of the sear you also need to remove metal from the inside base of the hook to allow for the mushroomed end of the latch rod to clear.

Cheers Mick I don't think the brass safety catches are very reliable either but I'll get there eventually

I've shot Tony's original reduced bore conversion...it was very good indeed

    Thumbs up

Had a productive day today had both the 80 and 52 running I wasn't expecting great things but I think the 52 needs a little more stroke and a new spring (I was using an old 97 one but going for a #9 titan) the 80 on the other hand needs a slightly revised #9 as my spare mk1 tx200 spring made it run slightly warm well nearer the legal limit than I'd like. The 52 on the other hand was just making 10ftlbs using crosman Premier

    Thumbs up

The 80 is running along nicely now spitting out jsb exacts in 0.177 @ 780fps that'll do me....the 52 on the other hand was shooting crosman prem in 0.22 at just over 330fps a little low so that's stripped and put in the shed till I can get around to doing it again

    Or maybe another hw80 build
