Sussex Interclub HFT 2018 - End of Season

Hello all,

The SIHFT end of season shoot will be hosted by Ford Ranges on Sunday the 28th of October 2018.

The event is open to all safe shooters with sub 12ft/lb air rifles and from any of the five hosting clubs (Swallows, Ford, Horsham Hawks, Mile Oak and Buxted) as well as teams from our established visiting clubs (Iden Fern, Meon Valley and MAD).

Other individuals will also be welcomed; all we ask is for a brief heads up that you would like to join us by dropping the SIHFT organiser a short message (Biggles).

Gates will open at 8.00am with booking in commencing at 9.00am. The shoot will start at 10.00am. A safety briefing is scheduled for around 9.50am. You must be at the safety briefing if you intend to shoot in the competition.

Please remember:

If you want to shoot with a specific person, don't leave booking-in to the last minute as you may be disappointed!

Cost

Adults = £8.00

Juniors = £5.00 (under 17)

Bonus Lane = £1.00 Adults and Juniors

Tea and coffee will be available and catering will be provided by the Ford Ranges canteen.

This weekends shoot is all about fun and so we intend to set something a little different.

There will be 16 lanes and a 17th bonus lane you can pay an exta £1 to have a go at. It will be a 15mm target set at 50 yards of which you will have to take kneeling. Anyone who knocks it over will share the winning pot and if no one knocks it over we will donate the pot to the Poppy Appeal. A worthy cause I am sure you will agree.

All odd numbered lanes will be shot as a 3 positional course and will be set to UKAHFT rules where posible.

All even numbered lanes will be shot prone and will have a mixture of UKAHFT and non UKAHFT targets.

Mike and Charles will be presenting the end of season trophies and doing the end of season prize draw. Dont forget you must be there to win it. Those that qualify for the prize draw can be found HERE.
