I think it sounds like a very interesting rifle, quite like the look as well, I don't see the handle is any different from a hamster for standing shots.
Sadly I doubt it will ever make the UK.
The two power settings would make it a good tool for rabbiting in the fields then turn it down for a bit of ratting, although 15fpe would probably still risk damage inside a barn.

It looks like the Chinese have moved beyond copying... Unless of course this is a copy of the FX Independence, but this is not mentioned in the link.

You got the same rifle named Nova Freedom. Only difference is Seneca got scope and Nova got fixed sights and big ugly name on its side.

There is something about the pivot end of the cocking lever that reminds me of the Webley Paradigm prototype (that sunk without a trace).

“We get a lot more of what we say we want in the Seneca Aspen. The pump force that was next to impossible in the Daystate [Sportsman Mk2, a multi pump derivative of the Titan Mohawk SSP] is easy in the Aspen because a three-stage pump multiplies the force of the pump arm.”
