Yes you're right Jon, not sure where he's got that photo from but that looks like an early Airsporter front sight to me.

No he means the later rounded type.

Nice to see a mk1, I should have an early model in my collection really.

    Ahh, Right Pete!

I've an RB2k and a taploading Stuttie but never had a Stutzen RB2!

Hmmm, My RB2k had a round hood fitted on the early pics, It's not there on the more recent ones!, Probably in the bottom of the gunslip!!

That's the sort of thing mate, although the Stutzen doesn't have the barrel weight.

    rb2 foresight hood.

With reference to FORE SIGHT hood for a RB2 Stutzen, i have two of them new in orig boxes and both have the smooth finish to them not dimpled
Also a RB2 Air sporter .25 cal. also smooth metal finish.Taking into account these are early serial numbers, first year production 1992 it would be quite normal i would think for B.S.A.to put dimpled ones on later models as i have found on a later 635 magnum.

    Thanks Roly,

that's handy as I have a smooth hood, although all the foresight units I have are all plastic.. halfway there..
