Hi Everyone,

Just thinking that this will be the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Quite some anniversary!

11th November was an anniversary I knew well as a child. My mother lost all of her uncles - four or five, I think (she would have been 105 this year); and my father lost one too (he would have been 107). Not wishing to get too dramatic or soppy here, but I do hope we can make the 2 minutes silence a solemn occasion for remembering all that that generation did for us today.

Absolutely nothing soppy or dramatic about showing respect for people who decided to make the ultimate sacrifice for what they believed was right...and were then proven to be correct in that.

I sadly cannot attend Sunday due to helping out with one of the many Remembrance events, I trust all at Buxted will show due respect.

This shoot will be to the proposed new rules for the up coming 2019 UKAHFT season. As is the norm these proposed changes are tested out over the winter months by clubs and winter series organisers to make sure they are suitable for any update.

There are a few changes re various things but for Sunday you don't need to worry as I will be setting the course in accordance with them.

However the course of fire has been altered regarding certain Hit Zone sizes and their maximum distances in some instances has changed. Please look at the below list as the way you rangefind may be affected if you don't know the new proposed changes that will be in use Sunday.

15-19mm Hit zone Targets from 13-25yds.
20-24mm Hit zone Targets from 8-30yds.
25-29mm Hit zone Targets from 8-35yds.
30-34mm Hit zone Targets from 8-45yds. There can be up to three 30-34mm kills at between 35 and 45 yards.
35-45mm Hit zone Targets from 8-45yds.

You must be gutted Andy...no more 25mm at 40 yards, but on the plus side you can set 30mm at 45 yards...bargain
