    Senior sear types

Does anyone know if the sear with a rectangular hole can be fitted in place of the type with the pin in. Looking at photos on net it looks like the pin type was a cost cutting exercise, easier to make in production ?

That sounds encouraging, made one of the above for my mates pistol, hoping it will work when I see him this afternoon. He says he could not source one anywhere, does anyone know of any stock available ?

I got the one piece type of eebay…. it's fitted to a early 1950's frame with a curly trigger.
works fine, can see no reason why it wouldn't work the other way, I think it was a cost saving thing the change.
I have got a 40's Senior with the 2 piece sear and curly trigger, but not pulling it apart to try it in a later Senior
