    Snipe

    Hi there
Been shooting the sfs snipe in .25
    Currently doing 10.3
Is the power purposely set to this or simply this is the max that at .25 hw99s can do
    Cheers

When I had a sub 12 .25 cal I tested loads of pellets, I found that once you reached 22-23gns power started to drop away because there is just too much mass for the available power to accelerate effectively.

They look cheap & nasty but seriously try marksman they're only 18gns ish, I found them excellent .

    Dave,

Trajectory wise, there is very little difference between 10.3 & 11.5 ft.lb in 0.25" - a matter of an inch at forty (40) yards.

Have fun & a good weekend

    Best regards

I tried all sorts of pellets in mine, which is an 80, keeping it under 12 was its biggest problem, but i now have it running at 11.4 with ftt's which are a good weight.

I’m quite surprised by that, thanks for posting the graph.

    The guys from Vermin Hunters
TV had one of these a while ago, in one their videos, and I am sure that the power was around 10.5 ft.lbs. They were using the H&N FTT at 19.9 grs.
