    Unusual BSA Scorpion pistol

    Can anyone shed some light on a Scorpion pistol with wire stock
    I think possibly a few were made as film props ?
    There are no markings at all,no makers name.

    I can provide pics,but cannot do so on this thread.

    If it’s the one I’m thinking of, the stocks were offered as an aftermarket accessory in the 1980s.

    Yep remember them being for sale, made one for my Scorpion, fixed by the rear fixing and grip bolts along the same lines.

    No, not that type,both ends of rod go into end plug of cylinder.

    Is the wire stock anything like this:




    I don't know who made this particular one, but I do know another was made by Sportsmatch for a short while.

    No BSA name on it.
    Trying to get the end cap out to service it, ....Stuck !

    Sorry, not having ever handled one of those, I can't help, but as the rear sight is different to normal, I suspect the original sight base fixing points might have been used to secure the top rod.

    Its really stuck fast, rear sights on mine are normal mk6.
    I cannot budge the end cap with wire stock,no movement at all,doesnt look welded. ??

    Hi I also have one of these scorpions with the stock,when I asked the learned members I was told that it may have been an aprentice piece apparently when the lads were allowed to pick a gun when they came out of th
    eir time No idea were the stocks were made or by whom No doubt it will all come out in the fullness of time.Lots of luck RON
