    These new UKAHFT rules

Does anyone have a list of the new rules being considered for 2019?
How does it work, or they to be trailed, voted on or implemented by those in charge?
Genuine question as one of the earlier threads interested me. TIA

    Hello Buddy,

The rules are just being trialled at the moment.

They are essentially staying the same, the only main difference is 30mm will be going out to 45 yards.

is the intention to reconsider limiting the 25mm kills only going to 35yds mate and also my understanding was that only 3 30mm kills could go to 45 yds and any others would need to be full size.

Personally I find a 25mm kill at 40yds is the most gratifying shot of the course and of course I am liking the idea of 30mm at 45yds.

As I understand it, the 25mm at 40 yards will be staying out at 40 yards (by popular demand) :-)

    Cheers Chilly.

I'm guessing it will be 3x30mm are effectively replacing 3x35mm?
Everything else including those lovely 25s at 40yards staying the same?

I quite like this new idea. I.M.H.O if it went to 4 unsupported instead of two aswell then the rules would be perfect

I'd leave it as it is. How many courses were cleared in the series this year?

Isn't that what you and Scutter do anyway? Though Scutter probably prefers doing it in a hall of mirrors.

Exactly. Why change any rules, unless you want less clubs to bother with UKAHFT rules and then just set then to UKAHFTish next year!

What's the official reasoning for 30mm out to 45 yards?
