Not used one but fancied this one https://www.outdoorvalue.co.uk/99235...ith-chair.html .If its no good it did not cost a fortune to buy and sell on.
Or the one with out the chair https://www.outdoorvalue.co.uk/99236...ting-tent.html
Hi all, could anyone recommend a good pop up hide. Now the winter months are here something relatively rain resistant if possible and big enough for a portable chair. Lots on the bay at reasonable money but would like the views from some who may actually own one, or used one in the past.
Cheers, John

I intend to use one shortly. I'm going to adopt the lazy approach to my hunting, after tramping the fields for 25 years plus,im ready to kick back and relax

hi ive used a doghouse pop up several times , fast to put up easy to put away once you've mastered it ...
I own and use both a doghouse and a chair hide. The doghouse is great if youre shooting with a mate, but its a pig to put down until you master the technique. The chair hides are great if you are hunting solo with a reasonably short rifle, they tuck into little gaps in hedges great. Make sure you use them with a suitable cammo net draped over them as without they stick out a bit. I usually poke a bit of vegetation into the net (not too much just enough to break up the outline a bit) ivr had some really successful outings on pigeons this way hope that helps bud

One of the cheap pop up hides with a camping chair inside is one of the best buys I've made. Saves messing about with hide poles and searching about for suitable vegetation to dress a net. Find a shady corner or gap in a hedge, chuck a camo net over it, nice and snug inside. I've had more success at pigeon and corvid shooting since using the hide.
Pop up hides are very effective but one word of warning: eventually the flexible hoops will tire and the thing won't go up or collapse properly. Obviously depends on how much you use it but it will happen.

The pop up hides for about £45 still have two poles inside to lift the roof.
Loads of room for a chair and the dog.
Very cheap though. Wouldn't like to be caught out in more than a shower.
Needs to have cam net pegged down over it in windy weather. There's no guy lines, just pegs at the corners.
Keeps the wind off.
My poles split. I repair them with super glue. There is a joiner missing one one of the walls pop up 'spring'.
Keep on top of these things and it will last a little longer.
There are stitching holes everywhere.
another vote for built in chair hides
