    Excellent :-)

Cracking morning's entertainment, I got to shoot with HFT royalty, thanks fellas it was most agreeable

Very decent course, thanks Meon, really appreciate the effort

My German machine behaved itself today

One serious note though, this is my opinion only, I have never won nowt, probably never will, I never take part in the serious big boy HFT but I do like to have opinions

The idea of teams outside your club of choice, within a shoot that is essentially an individual event to me has little value if the teams choose themselves....birds of a feather will flock together.

You will essentially be giving trophies/medals to people who have already won a trophy/medal at that shoot.

The effort to set that sort of thing up is laudable but I think it would be much better if the teams were somehow chosen such that top end shooters were teamed with those lower down the food chain...give some of the sardines a chance to win some metalwork with the help of the sharks

This is not an attempt by me to gain any of the above mentioned metalwork as I am useless at team stuff..always been a lone wolf, always will

I dont want to critisise those that have put their time and effort into setting up these things, and I dont want to start a bun fight, but I think for the good of the hobby and to send as many people as possible home with a big smile it may be better to re-think it next time round....thoughts

Really good to be back shooting again after very nearly 6 months absence through injury. I loved it!

Many thanks to the course setters, the organisers and everyone else involved in putting on today's event - a great course and super weather too (compared to what we may have got!). Well done to the winners (some fantastic scores there) and many thanks to my shooting partners for putting up with my inability to be as light and lithe as I used to be

    Roll on round three!

This was my 1st hft, thanks for having me.
Didn't do particularly well (lowest score of the day! ) but it was very enjoyable and I look forward to coming again.
Just for reference my surname is Pardy, no idea how it changed but hey how.
