Horsham Hawks (UKAHFT) Winter Series 2018/19 Round Two Results 02.12.18
Very many thanks to everybody who turned out for the second round of the Horsham Hawks Winter Series today. You may recall that earlier in the year we conducted a brief survey, which resulted in our adoption of a UKAHFT format for this year's series (rather than a 'Hunter' course which had become the custom in the past).
We enjoyed a very reasonable autumnal day with a fair amount of wind to make things quite interesting. And the rain held off too, for the most part. What more could we ask for?
Some brilliant scores were achieved - especially so, given the wind. Well done to all the top scorers in the classes today. It was good to have the opportunity to welcome some newcomers to the sport. Keep at it. It's great fun!
Further rounds will be held on:-
Round 3 - Sunday 17th February 2019
Round 4 - Sunday 31st March 2019 followed by tea and prizes.....
Please find below, results published in the usual format. Any errors are mine alone and if you would be kind enough to ping me a note, I will make any necessary corrections.
I have also prepared a spreadsheet of the results from the rounds so far. This can be found at http://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/003ef4...c714dc15b4.pdf
See you all at round three, if not before.
Very best wishes,
Phil

Nigel did a great job on the Prosport, he certainly knows how to turn zeros into heroes (Do I mean the gun or shooter?)

..."My son," said the Norman Baron...."The Saxon is not like us Normans. His manners are not so polite. But he never means anything serious till he talks about justice and right"...
Thanks Hawkies.
Excellent morning and course.
Was doing quite well until (I have to blame something) the head cold took over from senses and completely screwed my rangefinding judgement toward the end of the course, dropping 4 points in the last 7 or 8 lanes. Doh
