    "A 53g v-max from a 22-250" There lies a problem that you mentioned earlier, ie correct twist rate, most 22-250's are 1 in 14, it is said that the 53g v-max in 22-250 requires a 1 in 12 twist rate ---------if Tikka's were 1 in 12 in 22-250 i might seriously consider getting one, but for the moment i'll stick with my 243 using the 58g v-max home loads, dont know what speed they are doing but there only 3% down on maximum powder weight on a 20" Tikka barrel.

    Point being there all good choices.

    You can't knock the 204 with 39gr Blitz, chaps. Especially when it's clocking 3,740fps. Still well within book data, too. Not pushing it at all.

    There are factory 1:12 22-250s out there though.
