Yes I put a couple of dozen pellets through one on Saturday at B.A.R, great fun and surprisingly pokey as well, it feels very solid with excellent rattle free build

Generally I dislike anything Co2 but I quite fancy one of these

I also had a good go of the new Glock 17 blowback which has probably the worst trigger I have ever pulled, truly dreadful

Interesting, it looks a bit plasticky in the pictures so its good to know its not in real life.

I shot a 9mm Glock at a commecial shooting range in Helsinki a couple of years ago, and it had a awful trigger, so maybe Umarex have been a bit too faithful to the original ...

Protek had them at Kempton yesterday.

Seemed well made, but big and a bit complicated to operate.
They also showed it as a carbine for those who like that sort of thing.

They had the new Nemisis as well which seemed a bit fat to me.
Good price for what it is I think.

Not usually a fan of Co2 rifles....... however I quite like the idea of one of these carbines they look like good fun.

I can’t see any mention or picture of a rear sight fitted to the carbine version and yet there’s a front sight fitted

Obviously in pistol format I can see there’s a rear sight but in carbine version it’s either pictured with a scope fitted or just mounts fitted....hmmm

Anyone know if the carbine version comes with a full open sight setup?

Does anyone actually own one yet and if so can they add any feedback good or bad

had a play with a friends.. mags are weird and fiddy, and it seems expensive for a toy. balance is weird too, cos its a shoulder stocked pistol i guess. i wanted to like it, but didn't really...
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I had the RP5 pistol in .177 for Christmas.
No prizes for guessing who bought it.

Despite the fact that it was clearly designed by a Committee it works well and I like it.

The mags are different but dont take much getting used to.

The pistol is powerful and has a good shot count.
It handles better than it looks and seems well built.

Havent shot it at the range yet but reviews show accuracy good.

The carbine doesnt have full open sights.
It cant be shot as a pistol - does around 10 ft lbs.
I think it will bring the best out of the pump action, but its not a rapid fire machine just a different way of cocking.

I dont think there is any point in buying the carbine at those power levels.
Umarex quote up to 10 ft lbs?

However having shot my .177 pistol at the range I am very impressed with it.
Good power, plenty of shots and accuracy good on 10m paper and 20m cans.
Tuesday this week so cool but not cold as today.

The pump cocking is actually rather nice.
I prefer it to the HW 44 side lever.

Its not quite as good as the 44 but still very good value at £250 ish.
Best buy for me for a while despite its looks!

    Looks like fun.
I find it odd that they didn't go with the existing eight shot Umarex magazines/clips though.
Maybe The Accountants shouted louder than The Engineers at the design stage.

I'm a bit dubious about those chrono readings in the video, although I haven't seen anything reliable to suggest a rating of 10 ft/lbs on the carbine, just the Umarex quoted figure of up to 11j (approx 8 ft/lb). I wonder if the guy has got a German rated gun or pistol version mis-fitted with an anti tamper stock? A top rate of 4 ft/lb seems way off.

I'm struggling to find some decent chrono figures in the UK, but Woodys of Wembley list the .177 pistol as putting out 574FPS (5ft/lb-ish with a 7g pellet) and the .22 carbine 492FPS (roughly 7.7 or so using a 14.5g pellet). Have you chronoed your pistol by any chance?

No chrono yet but I can tell its up there.

I tnink Airgungear man may have got hold of the German version of the Carbine which will be power limited.

Chrono readings at B.A.R were 5.5 ft lb average in .22 for a UK spec carbine, as usual they drop off with rapid fire, a pity but it's still a fun gun... I wish the manufacturers would be a little more honest with their spec
