    Armigas G.K.F.S."Damaschke"

Bought a few interesting things at the Kempton Park show including a FAS 604 for £40, and a Schimel GP22 for £195. Also bought one of Lawries Armigas rifles. These are bulk fill CO2 with an 80 shot .177 b.b. mag. They are quiet to shoot due to the long barrel so suitable for indoor fun if you have a decent sized room or garage. Think my bb stock will soon be exhausted. It has German markings but not sure if it was manufactured in Italy.

Here is the Schimel. Someone has made some nice fitting wood grips. I cleaned off the paint with a phosphor bronze brush down to original base metal, and fitted some old correct grips. There are options on re-finishing these or I could just leave it as it is. Don't know if I should fit the wood grips back on. Mechanically very nice condition and good shooter.

Bob, I agree, doesn't look right with the wood. I will be able to sell you a nice FAS 604 cheap in January if you are interested, but it will have a left hand grip.

Yes Alistair, not built like most bb rifles, this is quite a solid product, probably because it has to take the bulk fill CO2. They always seem to allow for extreme temperatures which can take the gas pressure way up. Also built for fairground use where it can take a bit of abuse. I suppose I could try it on HPA up to 1200 p.s.i.
