in 1979 which was the cheapest the meteor or the super sport .

reason i am trying to remember which gun was the first i ever bought it was from the gun shop in cheadle hulme cheshire

Likely a Meteor or possibly Super Meteor. Supersport did not arrive until well into the 80s.

Yep. Supersport was introduced in 1986, I seem to remember.
