    Yep, I think I bought my new Meteor Super in 1978 (might have been late '77) for £28.50.

    Couple of POSH coffees in LONDON for a fiver, Me Geez??

    Just flipped through a 1982 edition of Airgun World

    The Meteor and Super Meteor advertised around the £35 mark,along with the boxed Scorpion pistol, complete with accessories.

    According to the October 1979 issue of Airgun World, you could get Meteor from Don Gray in Chatham for £23.50, or a Super Meteor for £27.75. Also has an article about some weird pneumatic tranquilizer gun made by some bloke called Don Lownds (their spelling).
