Roblade used to be able to get hold of them, not sure if he still can.
Hi Andy

Hi Andy
just read this:
JSB Diabolo Exact 4.51
These precision pellets are specially selected and as supplied to some well known British rifle manufacturers under their own labels. A firm favourite with Field & Hunter Field Target shooters with good reason. Wt.8.44gr(0.547gm
10% dearer than we pay? I think?
bed time now....the misses is callin

Air Arms and JSB pellets are different even though they are made in the same factory. Air Arms have their own design of pellet.Originally Posted by Kilty

IMO you there's no comparison between AA (or Daystate) and JSB. I've been using JSB for field target now for about 5 months and haven't had to throw away a deformed pellet yet. Every one of them are perfectly formed and undamaged. They also seem to shoot much better than any of the aforementioned brands in my ProTarget Mk3. Having 'cross-sectioned' all three brands with a blade, I can confirm what Paul says. They ARE different.
Jonathan.
Have a look at this !
http://users.skynet.be/mario.severi/airgunning/JSB.html
AA 410k, 3-9X50
FN19 Hawke, 6-18x44
AA S200, 6-24X50
S10, 8-32X50
Have a look here for cross-section pics.
Chris
P.S.
Too quick for me Rusham, don't bother with mine it's the same link.
Fabricatum diem, pvnc!
Looking at the cross sections it appear that the daystate is the only real match.
Thanks for the info
Andy
I'm convinced and therefore I have moved over to JSB Exacts in 4.53.
Not yet thrown ONE away.
btw Andy, they are cheaper!
cheers

Have to agree. I have used 20 to 30 tins with another 10 tins waiting to be collected. The amount of pellet damage is really very low indeed.
My Steyr likes them and so does my HW100 (though it is early days) and still rying lubed/unlubed, scrubbed barrel/dirty barrel.
My GML hated JSB !
Air Arms were liked by the Steyr and the S200 but I got fed up of buying tins and finding significant damage to pellets.
Seems to be a bit up and down. Maybe it's a transport/packing thing or maybe its closer to the factory.
Have heard that Schultz grade there kit and send the good the bad and the ugly to various levels of the distribution chain.
My source has proved spot on but might try 4.51 and 4.53 to see what occurs.
The quality is there though for sure

Hi Steyr
I have some 451 and 453 if you want a good few to trial
Bought all three to start with but settled on 453.
