If you click on LinkedBBcode on imgur you can put the pic directly on using the insert image icon on the page you are posting.

Thanks for looking. Just wondered how well it works and whether it saves bandwidth or summat. Seems quicker for showing multiple shots to me

Yes, you are right. I think a lot less people click on the link to look at the pics on the hosting site.
Anyway I like the Firebird, it is one of the handiest PCP rifles to experiment with. You can knock up all types of barrels in different calibres very easily, and they change quickly with just two grub screws.

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

You can have all the calibres up to .25, because of the pellet loadng system on these. I never tried a .30 as that would probably need a little machining to the main body. The last barrel I fitted was a .20, made up a special 90 degree cutting tool for the lathe to make a recess for the breach O ring. Obviously you can fit different lengths of barrel. You can keep the power level legal with the tiny alan screw adjuster when changing calibres. Sold my Firebird a few months ago.

.45's make you walk funny. Carried one on my hip for over 20 years, now leaning to the left.
