In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY COLLECTING NEW YEAR !

I got £20 off my Auntie so I put it on a jumper.
It fell at the fourth fence.

And season's greetings to everyone in Collectables (or 'Happy Holidays' as our American cousins say).

Such a great section this. Great people. I visit every day at least once but normally several times and it's like dropping in at a massive permanent international conference of old friends and acquaintances who share a passion for the same (fairly obscure, let's face it!) thing, all from the comfort of my armchair.

1-0 to the internet, I'd say.

A Merry Christmas to all in 'Gentlemens corner and all my friends in the BBS, not to forget the Mods and Admin!

And let's hope I get a minter boxed Mk1 Airsporter in my stocking, it's the only thing I wish for every year!
