Bar's prices for second-hand stock vary from reasonable to ridiculous- I've hinted this to them several times. You look at some of their stock and think that will still be there in 6-12 months time and lo and behold it usually is. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I have bought 5-6 rifles from them, I'd love to be a fly on the wall when negotiations are taking place.

Have you still got a stock of eastern European springers?.

I often negotiate
and if that fails I beg
and if that fails I lie on the floor kicking and screaming.
I have been known to bite ankles.

(but not when it involves Swamp Donkeys or Wobblys.)

Yes they were available mail order. Some through your mums catalogue at 50p per week or summat daft and if you were really lucky the postman smashed it to bits.
