    6-10 Challenge free comp

    Ok Guys,

Here we go, the free, BBS forum based FUN comp shot over 6yds and 10m.

This is month one, comp one, so I'm sure if it catches on, some tweaks to the rules will be made. For now, I hope this will do and we can get some scores up and have fun

    Rules/guidelines :-

    1. Comp to be shot over 6yds and 10m, ex 400 points, max of 10 points per shot, 40 shots in total.
    2. All shooting to be done freestanding unless disabled and have a known exemption.
    3. PCP rifles or pistols ONLY to be shot over 6yds, (so we don't conflict with the MPL).
    4. Spring, SSP, Co2 and PCP can be shot over 10m.
    5. Any sighting system can be used.
    6. ANY 'NSRA type' 6yd and 10m cards can be used, so that would include the Target-Air type. (use correct target for weapon type).
    7. Home printed targets can be used as long as they are printed at 100%.
    8. Wad cutters only for a clean and easy score.
    9. Inward scoring with any tool, i.e. Target Scan App, scoring gauge, (correct type please) scoring magnifying glass etc.
    10. No shooting clothing aids to be used for pistol.
    11. Shooting Jackets, trousers, gloves and shoes CAN be used for rifle but must be declared.
    12. All scores MUST be in between the extreme ends of each month down to the minute.

That's enough rules for now, who likes them anyway

The comp will be totally self scoring and what is posted stays, if anybody cheats, then that's between them and God! This comp runs over one month and is free, it simply repeats itself the next month; so all scores MUST be in between the extreme ends of each month down to the minute. Failure to surrender the scores in on time will result in no score for that month, so no early or late scores. Scores may not be printed in the thread on the exact day of surrender, but they will be printed in the shoot for that month as long as they were surrendered on time.

The example below assumes one single pistol target has 5 shots per card (ex 50x8), a rifle target has 5 single targets with one shot in each target per card (ex 50x8). All scores to be PM'ed to me via this BBS forum, in this format please :-

    10m Rifle, MrChipShoulder, January 2018, Jacket, Trousers, Boots, FWB 601, 50-50-50-50-50-50-50-50 = 400

    10m Pistol, MrChipShoulder, January 2018, Steye Evo, 50-50-50-50-50-50-50-50 = 400

    6yd Rifle, MrChipShoulder, January 2018, Jacket, Trousers, Boots, FWB 601, 50-50-50-50-50-50-50-50 = 400

    6yd Pistol, MrChipShoulder, January 2018, Steyr Evo, 50-50-50-50-50-50-50-50 = 400

(I 'seem' to be a good shot )

I think that will do for now, but please feel free to PM me any additions you may feel are worth adding to the rules. I will update this thread as we go, both for scores and in this original post. Please check the "last edited" note at the bottom for updates and amendments.

    Thanks and have fun.
    Rob.

    Hi,

Sorry, only PCP over 6yds, please see rule 3.
"3. PCP rifles or pistols ONLY to be shot over 6yds, (so we don't conflict with the MPL)."

You will need to see Zoomer or PhatMan for all other 6yd shooting.
The MPL has you covered for your 6yd springer

    Updated today.

Thank you to all those that have given scores so far.
I think it's going very well given it is the first month

Anybody want to do a 6yd rifle score?
I can't as Alisha would kill me if I re-zeroed her rifle from where she has it now

    Thanks Guys,
    Rob.
