Help in identifying and date of air rifle

    Dear All,

I have been trying to identify this air rifle and would be interested to also know its age.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have gone through the books I have but cant quite work it out. There are few readable marks on the rifle and I have included them in the pics.

    Many thanks for any help.

    Regards

    Andy

Andy it's a pre-WW1 Diana (26?) - you can just see the MG/R (Mayer & Grammelspacher, Rastatt) on the breech.

Many thanks, I wondered about Diana but all the photos I found was flattened on the sides where air cylinder met the butt. Mod 27 I think. Many thanks for the help.

    Warm Regards

    Thanks to Garvin

Thanks Garvin for the help. Based on the link you gave me looks to be a Mod 27. Have measured and weighed the rifle and this fits with the sales literature.

    Warm Regards
