HRPC SUNDAY 6th HFT, 60 Point Challenge and 2019 Calendar

HRPC Sunday 6th January HFT Guests Welcome

We will be hosting our first HFT shoot of 2019 on Sunday 6th January. We will be shooting winter hours, open the plinking range at 9 and get the shoot underway at 10.

This shoot is open to all responsible shooters of UK limit air rifles and will generally conform to UKAHFT rules (with some minor variations to add interest). The safety brief will be at ten and we’ll get the shoot started straight after. You MUST be at the safety brief to shoot. Inflation means that we need to charge more. Only £1 though, Costs are £7 for members and £8 for guests, that's our first increase since we found this venue. Our course is located at Ultimate Events, based at Holmbush Farm, just off the A264 between Horsham and Crawley, address below:

    Ultimate Events
    Crawley Road
    Faygate
    West Sussex
    RH12 4SE

Its well sign posted from the dual carriageway as Holmbush Farm World and Holmbush Paintball.

Once you get to the site follow the signposts to Ultimate Events, go past the paint ball area and you will come to a large car park. Be aware that this is an unpaved forest road and a bit rough in places.
We are located a short way down the hill into the woods but look around for any other shooters and ask directions as itÂ’s easy to get lost. We check the car park regularly so we will find you if there's nobody around. If anybody wants to know more or needs directions then PM me or e mail to info@hrpcuk.com.

The 60 point Challenge is back on starting at £137. Its outside the normal shoot so let the booking clerk know if you want to try it. The pot will roll over to £150 WHERE IT WILL BE CAPPED. anything after that will go to improving the HFT course. Club funds re roofed the plink last year and this year I would like to se the walls going up. We mix the course up every time so nobody (including HRPC members) gets the chance to learn it, in fact we sometimes let other people set the targets.
We have more than 60 targets (and a load still to go out) to choose from, most of which can be shot from more than one Two. or three pegs, and well more than 40 pegs. Being an ex=vil get I might even extend the course for this year, The islands were always good lets see.
As the targets and pegs are chosen by whoever's setting the course on Sunday it changes every time. However, every target gets killed on the day and the course has been cleared once so it can be done. Depending on expected numbers it might be a full 30 peg course or it might be 15 shot twice, youÂ’ll find out on the day.

    Hope to see you there.

    Cheers

    TERRY

    Full calendar

Busy isn't the word for it. Ross and I managed to work out a schedule where we can fit in all of the shoots around other events. We've never been able to get the land for a full 26 weekends before so its new territory for us as well. There might be others on the site when were running a shoot but we can manage that safely as we proved last year.

No doubt there will be some comments about us conflicting with other events but we're not in competition with anybody, hence all of our shoots are Guests Welcome. Last year we ran some shoots with just three people and others with numbers in the twenties. For us its not numbers, but like minded shooters having a good time enjoying their sport. We're also lucky to have permission to shoot here and want to share it with as many other people as possible.

    HFT tommorrow.

have airsoft on site tomorrow so please let the parking marshals know your shooting HFT. That will prevent us getting blocked in.
