    Cool Possible couple of recruits!

A nice pair of chaps called in to see me today. I'd met one of them previously and he has a Daystate of some description. As ever, I managed to get airguns into the conversation and his friend is interested in maybe getting into our wonderful hobby and thinks he'd prefer a boinger. Lovely!

Told them about The Bash and they both seemed very interested. Also, the chap who is interested in a boinger left with a nice, comprehensive list of possible guns and potentially helpful sites including, of course, the BBS and this thread. Also explained that he needs to try as many as possible from my list of potential guns and that, if he hasn't bought one before April, he'll be able to see and try a nice variety of boingery toys at The Hollow.

    Fingers crossed.

Oh yes, co-incidentally, the nice chap with the Daystate might even be looking at a new bike!

I love recruiting new peeps to our wonderful hobby, Pauly, and especially getting new victims, erm, er, sorry, new attendees along to The Bash.

I think some of my more popular recruits are DavyWavy and his lovely sister, Gina (just ask Dave ).

    Mmmm......the list went.....TX200, HW77, 97, 98, 95, 35 and 30S and Walther LGV & LGU. Not a pfft pfft in sight!

Get that mate of yours to have a good look / ride on a R1250GS and GS Adventure. Awesome, and he'll thank you in the long term.

And I was thinking 'bout you t'other day.......You'll need to be upgrading your little steed in September when the '69 plate comes out.

How many sleeps until you know what, my friend?

My mate John has been riding bikes for nigh on 50 years so he kinda knows what he wants, he’s had BMW’s before so I’m sure he’s considered the ones you’ve mentioned above.
Ooh a 69 plate would be awesome

Point taken on the Beemers and John's experience, Pauly.. But if he's open to the idea, try and get him to try the new ones.....that new engine is an absolute stonker!

Would you be "up" for a larger steed for your "personalised" plate?

Hope all goes well in 6 days' time bruv.

If he hasn’t committed to the Yam today I’ll mention it to him tomorrow, price will be important to him at the moment so if the Beemer is more expensive (I’m guessing it is) it may be out of his reach.
I’m looking forward to a full Spring and Summer on the little MSX to be honest Tone as it’s a real chuck around fun little machine. However, when I do get my own place in the future and I have the room/garage to store a ‘proper’ bike, I probably will get something bigger.
