With it getting dark at around 8pm in April I'm thinking about getting a scope mounted torch so I can have a little shoot in the dark. I'm not after anything expensive as it will only be used at "The Bash". Can anyone recommend anything "cheap and cheerful" that would be suitable please?

I think Uncle Mick rigs up some floodlights for nocturnal Quigley fun?

No doubt the lampers and night-time ratters amongst us will be along to advise, Garry.

Just don't get carried away and spend fortunes on the thermal imaging gear.......I've heard someone who shan't be named prefers to "operate" under the cover of darkness and you might be freaked out with the revelations!

Just look for a small cree torch and a scope mounting bracket on the bay mate. I had one cost a couple of quid, could illuminate the bucket no sweat and the battery would last hours on end

That sounds good to me. I have been looking at these but was thinking that the objective lens might obscure the torch but it sounds like there's enough clearance.
