The only slight downer being no boingery action. Reading the above I can understand. Shame there isn't a club nearby. Wouldn't you be tempted to use a springer for any of your pest control / hunting, matey?
Yep, time surely flies Tone, I don’t miss work one bit

I used my .25 HW80 when I had my permission in Northwood (London) which was great on Roland’s and sitting woodies and I really should use a springer now to be honest,I have every faith in my HW95 and my ability to use it effectively. However, I always try to give myself every bit of advantage I can when shooting quarry and a PCP does deliver that in so much that hold sensitivity, recoil and report are at a minimum. I’ve got a couple of hides to position at a couple of my permissions for squizzers and pigeons so, yeah, I must make the effort.

    Yep, too true matey.

Y'know, for ages after Bremby went I wouldn't have been reafy for another little dog dog. Not much chance anyway, as 'er indoors doesn't like dogs. Now, I think I could well be receptive to a new little pup and the joy it'd bring, but at the back of my mind would be the reality that you've mentioned in the past.....the unavoidable heartache and pain one day.

As for the puss cats, well we have another six (!) anyway. Three daft ones that never go out. Plus we have "Baby" who is ever so cuddly. And then we have Billy's twin sister...totally different to BillBo and really bimbo-ish. And then we have their mum. About two and a half years older than the pair of them. Think she'll go on forever.
