I reckon so mate. The other option is the "K" which has the barrel weight and no open sights. Thank god you got the record trigger

To be honest it was such a snap decision just before I left the shop I only took a cursory look at it without taking it out of the box until I got it back to the hotel

Great to hear that your run home was smooth and uneventful, Pauly.

And it looks like you have the answer to your version query. Excellent. Sorry, was a bit distracted on the Supersport and Kempton threads.

Yep query solved Matey. I just never gave it much thought to be honest. One of the chaps at the Range suggested I experiment with putting my disused HW77 rear sight on the dovetail of the 30 bringing it further back to see if I might get a more crisp view of both front and rear as I did find the position of the rear sight slightly blurry due to my eyesight. Gotta be worth a try but I’m happy enough with the current set up if I can’t improve it slightly.

Did yours come with the foresight catering for interchangeable elements, Pauly? And, if so, different elements in the little bag? If so, it might be worth experimenting a little and seeing what suits you better.

P.S.....If you don't use that 77 rear sight, make sure you hang onto it, as they're pretty sought after.

Yeah it really is nice, very light and pointable. Linkages felt a little stiff when cocking but that eased after 50 odd pellets and not a hint of a twang whatsoever
