    Basket Case LP2

I have been asked to reassemble a Walther LP2 air pistol that has been totally dismantled all the parts are there I am told and none are missing, and I am assured each and every part belonging to this air pistol are in the cardboard box, along with the new set of washers, seals, new piston and instructions.
What are the chances of me putting it together and getting it working correctly.
Do any of you know where a full strip down and reassembly procedure is available from?
Or do you have any advice about reassembling these air pistols, as I have never seen let alone used one of these before.

Walther LP2 reassembled. With advice from Lawrie, the piston was modified from the standard lip seal, and machined to except an O-ring lubricated with synthetic motor oil.
Replaced the broken circlip with a new 5mm circlip with a new one from R.S components £3-06 a hundred only got to repair another 99 to use them!
Now reassembled and working as good as new.

    (5) 347 fps
    (6) 342 fps
    (7) 348 fps
    (8) 345 fps
    (9) 342 fps
    (10) 348 fps.

    Well done on the reassembly.

Chrono results are consistent if a tad low for clean holes at 10m.

Hopefully it will run in and gain some velocity.
