I have a Crown in sub 12. Once the s---e from the grease used during manufacture has passed through the action and the barrel has been cleaned (polished with VFG felts and blue paste,) the gun is as accurate as my Steyr and Anschutz. I have heard of people saying "not to clean" the STX barrel assembly. What a load of b-----s.
The gun is superb to shoot and will shortly be used for bench rest shooting armed with a 12 mag scope. If it wasn't up to the job I would use another of my target rifles. The interior of the barrel, when polished, resembles a spiral galaxy when looking into the light. Following the polishing process, a few of the normal pull throughs after every tin keeps on top of the accuracy, which is nothing short of stunning. Personally, I love it.
