I’m surprised this collection wasn’t auctioned by Holts.
Would have reached a bigger international market.

Some pretty serious rifles up for granbs. Collectors are just castodians for a while. Even some of the less pestigeous rifles would be a delight to own. I'd want to see each example before putting any bid on as the pictures only tell half the story. Nice there are enough rifles worth going to see and even chance a bid on. All part of the hobby.
Sadly I'm skint too, could so easily spend a good few grand on this and that. With so many that anyone would be happy to own it could soon mount up. There are those with deep pockets and I can't see much not making solid prices. A good few collections are going to have the odd hole filled, and the adding of another example. There is something for everyone, and it will be interesting how it all goes. Much will be on the reserves though I suspects they are there to sell.
Yes some very interesting lots. As I do not think I could get there for the auction I just e mailed their appointed shipping agents to see if post/delivery is an option. They said yes but indicated cost could in the region of £135 - £155. Wow.
Cheers, Phil
It reminds me of when I naively bought a rifle and then realised the delivery would cost more than the item. Still I had a lovely drive to Devon and back.
I love the description, Probably Venom tuned, it doesn't give you much comeback if it isn't. Buyer beware I suppose
I have bought a lottery ticket and programmed the auction house into my satnav for when I win
WANTED: Next weeks winning lottery numbers :-)
Some beautiful guns, but I wonder how many people will buy online, only to find that it does not quite live up to expectations
or maybe have a problem. I suppose you pay your money you take your chance.
The only gauranteed winner is the Auction House so good luck to all and hopefully only smiley faces

Loads of interesting guns, but it looks like they had a very hard life...
Also the auction charges are extortionate! 30% to be paid by the buyer and 10% by the seller.
Even at this early stage all the Whiscombes have gone over £1k (one over £1.5k, that's £1950 to be paid by the buyer with fees!) and there is still over a week left until the auction starts...
I don't think there will be many bargains...
I think that's if you bid directly with the auction house, if you bid through www.the-saleroom.com it's 29.94%.
I fancied the Tx200sr( lot 201not listed as an sr ) this was first listed as Venom ,Laser Glided TX , when I enquired about posting ,the email advised that the listing was amended ,saying no supporting documents .
Think that went for £450 + fees ,
