    Me want engraved Whiscombe.
    Me want engraved Spartan.
Both go nice with my engraved Lincoln Jeff.
    Me also want pro elite.
Me now go sell my soul.

Normal lucidity will return shortly once I have got everything in check.

    Auction

I can't believe the timing of this sale, a month after crimbo and people have yet to be paid.
What was the auctioneer thinking, as waiting for another month when people have money would make for a better sale. Perhaps this is one for the bargain hunters and the vultures in life.

    Hmm.
I can’t decide if it’s a good or bad thing that I’m skint.
Don’t think I’ve seen so much tempting stuff in one auction.

Cant see there anything going reasonable in there, the descriptions indicate the seller knows exactly what he has and from that what they are worth so would assume there are hefty reserves on stuff and that then the Commission on top. Although what I will say is that the Gamekeeper in there is not in the original case as stated, it should be a doskocil one not the one it is in.

I used to own the Daystate Competa Nr 29 - must have sold it 15 years ago.

Anybody know whose collection this is?

Not sure about this Guy, some descriptions were apparently written by know-nothing auction people - a diopter sight is described as both an "eye piece" and and "eye scope"...

Prices could be high at this auction, I missed out on this at £71000.

So who is going Wednesday to view the air rifles. It's the only day for viewing which seems a bit unreasonable

Interesting that buyers fees on this auction are 30% and on the US auction for the late Ingvar Alm collection it's 18.5% with a 3.5% discount for cash
