Oh well, that's a shame for new shooters but whatever people have on their computers will still work.

Targets set out on a range.
People who have been there focus on the fundamentals. People who sit at keyboards all day focus on the trivial and inane.

Since I've got Strelok on my phone (which I use very time I shoot full bore), I've never need to use a desktop ballistics app. So if you haven't tried one, I believe there's a free version of Strelok which is very good. It's an app, which for me, is more useful on the range than in my study.

The calculator function on your phone should deal with that

There's an effective airgun trajectory calculator on the American site www.airguns.net

    LOL....same here!

Years ago I would play with ChairGun and found that I had to shoot actual targets at different ranges with my .177 Beeman R9 (rebadged HW95) and boxed 7.9 Crosman Premiers. Well....I found out that "'puter calcs" weren't close enough to "the actual" to be useful without adjusting the ChairGun data input. After messing with ChairGun for a while it simply didn't make sense since there was a need to shoot targets anyway to verify the "'puter calc"! Here is a target I made up using CAD software to get a handle on the trajectory of various tunes. This target consisted of 5 shot groups (165 consecutive shots) while sitting on a bucket resting the gun on cross sticks from 10 to 50 yards (my max distance from back stops at each property line). The heavy dashed lines are spaced 1" apart, subdivided with dotted lines 1/4" & 1/8" apart. The outer bull circles are 1/2" diameter and the lighter bull circles are 1/4" diameter.

Since I can't take a shooting bench into the woods to hunt (I'm a poor offhand shooter) I do almost all my shooting American style hunter class field target by sitting on a bucket resting the gun on cross sticks like this.

As y'all probably know, we don't have a 12fpe power limit in the USA giving a lot of tuning latitude with their trajectory curves.

Also, with Strelok, can you access a crosshair Image after all the Input has been fed In like you can with Hawke Chairgun, and then print If off to carry about with you?
