    The seal is correct as people have said, mottled blue are the older ones, white the latter one. The sear is normally shaped like that due to the piston shape, the contact face is the one not shown in your photos, its the end face that engages with the piston and will probably have evidence of that contact. The sear and trigger are SINTERED or MONKEY!!! metal and on no account should be re ground or stoned, the material is actually powder; formed under extreme pressure, only a few microns are hard and once worn or removed the base material will crumble and fail very quickly, it's also brittle so, also, it's easy to break; with sears this wear can cause unexpected self discharge and with pistols cause massive hand damage if your hand is caught between the barrel and cylinder. If your sear has a polished face but sharp edges at the contact area it should be ok; if the contact area is rounded off in any way it's getting to or is already dangerous. Mk I and Prem II sears look similar but won't work in a Prem.

    Thanks abellringer. It's the wear that concerned me. I get the shape/material bit.
